Frequently asked questions about the product: Aluminium disc flattie
Q: Can you still get hold of the old silver colour discs that you used to do which were approx 25/28 mm. I wish you still did them.
A: I'm not sure of the exact item you mean, if you can email me at mailbox@beadsunlimited.co.uk we could go through more details and see what we can do.
Q: I bought these beads recently and they have changed.I bought some before and they were about 25mm round???
A: These beads are all hand made so it could be that the ones you had before were from a different, bigger batch but I've taken a look at our stock and they all seem to be within the 18-22mm range.
Q: Is the hole on the back, like a button? And can the material be engraved?
A: This bead is 20mm across with a depth of 6.5mm and the hole is located on this edge and runs through the whole length of the bead. We haven't tried to engrave the beads ourselves so we couldn't really say for sure but aluminum is quite a soft metal. The best way to find out would to try a sample yourself.
Q: Would a piece of 1mm cord go through the hole on this bead easily?
A: The hole in this bead is just under 2mm wide, so 1mm cord should go through absolutely fine.
