Q: is this wire suitable for knitting and crocheting and will it lose its colour?
A: It is suitable for wire knitting, I'm not sure if it will lose its colour over time, it's a solid brass wire, so there's no coating to come off but it may tarnish over time.

Q: What has happened to the Bright steel wire NLW02 and if no longer stocked (it did tarnish eventually) can you please suggest an alternative ,similar thickness, for crochet work?
A: We couldn't get any more of this wire but we have a brand new version at: www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Lacemakers-wire-0-2mm/bo5278 which is much the same.
