Q: Can I string the 8mm miracle or iridescent beads onto the 0.9 mm silk thread? I am making Muslim prayer beads and need a sturdy thread so I can roll the beads up and down the cord.
A: Yes, that shouldn't be a problem as the holes in the beads are about 1.2mm wide, so the cord should fit well.

A: Most of the beads on this page will probably be suitable for making hair bobbles. It just depends whether you have a particular size of bead in mind, as some of the larger ones might make the bobbles too big. Apart from that I think any of the plastic beads would be ideal for hair bobbles!
