Frequently asked questions about the collection: Christmas charms
Q: I'm looking to use the Christmas tree or the snowman charms make beaded bracelets on either the thin clear or metal elastic. I'd like to use red and green beads and was thinking of 8mm miracle beads in cherry and emerald (PLBF0611) or the 7mm lustered round glass beads in ruby and emerald (GLTL0711). Which would you recommend as the best colour match? How many do you think I'd need for an average wrist size? Thanks!
A: It really depends on what look you're going for, the miracle beads are bright and jolly but they look plastic and the glass beads are all a little different because they're handmade. Both of the reds are a bit pinky so colour-wise there's no much to choose between them. I personally prefer the glass but if you do buy the glass you will have to use thin clear elasticity as the holes in the glass beads are tiny but if you use the miracles you can thread them on metallic elastic. I'd estimate you'd need 24 8mm beads and 28 7mm beads for an average bracelet.
