A: Sure, it's just regular cotton covered elastic so you could easily use it for thin hair bobbles.

Q: How do you join this elastic?
A: This elastic is really easy to knot, just a simple tight double knot will be enough to hold for ages.

Q: I'm going to have a bracelet making party for my Daughter (aged 7) I noticed that you recommend the elastic thread. Do you need a needle to thread through the plastic beads or will it suffice on it's own? I shall use the larger diameter beads as I'm assuming they have the largest holes in the middle?
A: You won't need a needle to thread the elastic, it has a woven cottony covering that makes it quite easy to thread with just fingers. Most of our plastic beads have at least a 1mm hole, all of the beads in this collection www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/coloured-plastic-beads/c6 have big enough holes for the elastic, even right down to the 4mm miracle beads. Generally the bigger the bead the bigger the hole but with these machine made beads we can be sure all of the holes are suitable.

Q: I'm looking for some elastic which will not fray as it's being threaded. Would this be suitable?
A: The cottony covering will fray a bit as you thread it but you can stop this by giving the end a dab of glue, when it's dried you can thread without worrying about fraying.

Q: Is this the elastic you recommend for children's stretchy bracelets?
A: Yes, it's pretty great, tough and colourful. All you need to do is thread the beads on and give it a couple of tight knots.

Q: Is this the thinist elastic you have, need to re-string a bracelet made of shell with very small holes in it?
