Q: I want to make a keyring with the stripy cotton beads but don't want them to lie right next to each other, what would you suggest to separate one from the next? I'm using the medium cotton thong to thread through which is 1.5mm thick and will be kno tting it between the striped beads, but just want to use something like the bead cap but not so pricey to cover over the ends - a smaller bead would do.
