Q: as your crimps are 3mm, why aren't your crimp bead covers 4mm? as once the crimps are squashed, the covers dont `cover` properly
A: Our crimp beads are 2mm www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Crimp/bo4025 so the best way to use them with our 3mm crimp covers is to use a pair of crimping pliers www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Crimping-pliers/bo1031 as these first squash the crimp flat and then you can old it over into a neat square rather than using flat nosed pliers which will only squash it flat and make it difficult to fit in the crimp cover.

Q: can you use crimps on elastic for braclets
A: Not ideally, the crimp will cut into the elastic over time so it wouldn't be very secure. Crimps are best used with beading wire. If you're trying to finish the ends of an elastic bracelet or keep beads in a specific place, knotting is generally the best bet.

Q: crimp with 2mm diamerer hole?
A: We currently only stock one size of crimp bead which is 2mm and has a 1.4mm wide hole.

Q: I am currently using 1mm x 1mm crimp beads would the 3mm crimp covers work with them and be a secure cover ?
A: Our crimps are 2mm so I can't be 100% sure of weather they will hold securely enough for you so you might prefer to buy a small sample first to try yourself.

Q: sometimes, one needs a bigger crimp for multi wire and beads, and then would need crimps that are 5 mm?
A: We only offer 2mm crimps and 3mm crimp covers currently but we do also have Crimp tubes www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Crimp-tube-multi-strand/bo6997 which allow you to fit multiple strands in and create a nice neat finish as seen in our Crystal Blues project www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/projects/the-crystal-blues/165.
