A: All our jewellery findings conform to the EU nickel directives definition of low nickel. Nickel free can actually be used as a decription for items containg nickel, just releasing it at a lower rate than 'low nickel' items. To be described as low nickel products intended to come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin must release nickel at a rate of less than 0.5 micrograms of nickel per square centimetre per week.
