Q: Do you have any flat crimps that would be suitable for ribbons. the LFBA crimps are not wide enough, I think I would need to be looking for 5mm crimps?
A: We have some special ribbon crimps at: www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Ribbon-crimp/bo4054 they work well with our organza ribbon, you just have to fold it before you crimp.

Q: Hi, can you tell me whether these crimp ends are quite easy to close? I ordered some from a different source that are nearly impossible to bend inwards to secure the thong or rattail. Cheers!
A: They shouldn't be too much of a struggle. Just get a pair of pliers and bend one flap over onto the thread, then the next on top of that. I prefer to use round nosed pliers because the point of the pliers crush the crimps much tighter, if you start with a squish in the middle and work outwards with lots of little tight squashes you should end up with a very tight bond.

Q: If I am using leather for a bracelet which is 2mm but I am using three widths of it will the crimps above be suitable? If not which would you recommend?
A: These crimps are only 3mm in width so I think you will need a much larger crimp to hold 3x 2mm threads. We have some ribbon crimps www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Ribbon-crimp/bo4054 that will fit 3x 2mm threads and if you lay them in a flat line and squeeze each side hard enough when crimping they should give a secure hold.

Q: What diameter is the hole at the top of the crimp?
A: The hole is 1.8mm wide.
