A: It's not impossible but tends not to work particularly well, we usually recommend using jump rings or connectors to add pieces or link the chain.

Q: If you sell these chains by the metre, would I have to cut them up to make individual charm bracelets, and then attach a fastening link?

Q: Is this chain nickel free?
A: All our products are low nickel and conform to EU Nickel Directives 94/27 & 2004/96. The Nickel Directive imposes limits on the amount of nickel that may be released from jewellery and other products intended to come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. This is 0.2 µg/cm2/week for post assemblies which are inserted into pierced ears and other pierced parts of the human body and 0.5 µg/cm2/week for other products intended to come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin.
