Q: Are these pendants too heavy to hang on waxed cotton thread (1mm thick) or should it be fine?
A: No they aren't actually particularly heavy, 1mm cord should be adequate.

Q: Can these pendants be made into necklaces?
A: Yes, the top swirls around into a loop that is fused to the back of the pendant, you can thread through this to create a pendant necklace.
