Q: hi, please can you tell me the size of the hole? I need beads with 2mm or more as I use 2mm cord . many thanks!
A: These beads have holes that are about 1mm wide but the hole size may vary by a tolerance of 0.4mm either way as they are all handmade.

Q: I am wanting to make wire hearts with beads threaded on. What is the hole size on the tiny glass lamp beads - the wire I am planning to use is the 2mm aluminium wire - I presume it will hold its shape
A: The tiny glass lamp beads have very small holes, even relative to their size, they are about 0.5-1mm wide. The aluminium wire is really easy to bend and shape so it doesn't hold its shape very well under pressure, some of the thicker metal based wires www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/wire-metal-based/c71 are better for this.

Q: What is the hole size on the 7mm beads glass lamp beads compared to the 5mm or are they the same?
A: The hole sizes are about the same, approx. 1mm, though as the beads are handmade it may vary slightly between individual beads.

Q: Would the thick Elasticity fit through the holes of the 7mm lamp beads (GLTL07)? Thanks
A: Yes the thick elasticity EYK www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Elasticity-thick-25m/bo4170 should fit through most of the 7mm round beads. The holes vary in size as all the beads are handmade but since the elasticity is 0.8mm thick it should fit.
