Q: I am trying to find a magnetic clasp strong enough to end a 4 strand plaited leather cord bracelet. would either of these clasps be strong enough/there are no beads involved so quite light. can you please point me in the right direction...i am desperate to finish this bracelet. Thankyou
A: I'd go with the smallest of our magnetic clasps www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Magnetic-clasps-6x5mm-SP/bo5217 which actually has the strongest magnet. It should be fine for this job!

Q: Would these clasps be strong enough to hold an 18ins necklace made with 14mm pearls? If not please advise.Thank you
A: That would depend if the pearls are made of glass, or plastic (or real pearls)? If they are made of glass then I would try using the smaller magnetic clasps www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Magnetic-clasps-6x5mm-SP/bo5217 as they actually have a much stronger magnet. If plastic then yes this clasp should be fine.
