Q: What is the best way to tie metallic elastic, knot or use crimps, or any other ideas?
A: The best way would be to give it a few tight knots. You could always knot the elastic and crimp onto the knot because crimping straight onto the elastic would only work for a short time until the elastic got pulled and sneaked out of the crimp (it's tricky little thread!).
