Full product name: Nylon - Nylon (NYK05, nylon, clear, 0.5mm) Notes: Nylon is strong and inexpensiveand is an old favourite for heavier beads with small holes. Make sure you pull your knots nice and tight, a dab of glue or nail varnish will probably help. Sold in 100 metre reels.

Q: can you use crimps on this nylon??
A: Yes you can crimp on this nylon cord.

Q: Do you have silver headpins longer than 50mm. Also what nylon should I use for general beading for slightly bigger beads?
A: Unfortunately we only offer headpins in this one size. For bigger beads I would recommend the thick nylon or if its doesn't need to be clear I would recommended the 19 strand beadalon wire www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Fire-polished-faceted-8mm/bo5122 as this is very strong but I would test this first as it does depend on the weight on the beads.

Q: Im thinking of making a netted bracelet 2 (video by Jane - which is very good by the way). I want to make about 6 bracelets and was wondering if this product is correct to use. If so how many spools should I buy for the 6 bracelets.
A: To make the bracelet we used Elasticity www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Elasticity-thin-25m/bo4169 as it is clear and stretchy allowing it to easily fit over the wrist without the use of a clasp. To make about 6 bracelets you will need roughly 1.5 to 2 meters per bracelet.

Q: Is this product a flexi nylon / plastic type thread? Can the ends be sealed off with crimps without cutting through the thread?
A: Yes, it's clear nylon, flexible enough to knot and weave but not stretchy at all. You can crimp onto it without the crimps cutting the thread.
