Frequently asked questions about the product: One colour miracle 12mm
Q: Are there plans to stock 10mm beads? When making necklaces of increasing sizes, they jump from 8 to 12mm which looks a bit odd.
A: It would be nice to get some 10mm miracles, I'll see what I can do. The miracle beads currently come from two different suppliers, that's why the colours of the 4-8mm aren't exactly the same as the 12-14mm. I'm not sure if we can get them but I'll see.
Q: Are these micracle beads originated in Japan? Japanese ones are high quality finish. If they are not Japanese then where are they from? How is the quality?
A: Our miracle beads are of Chinese origin and we feel they offer great quality for the price. You can always buy a small sample as our minimum order value is just £5 and if you're unhappy with the quality you can return them for a full refund.
Q: Do you know if these beads are non-toxic?
A: We've enquired with our suppliers in the Far East and have been told they are made from non-toxic plastic. As these beads are craft components rather than toys they aren't required to be tested under EU legislation.
Q: How big is the hole on these beads please?
A: The hole is just under 2mm.
Q: The 12mm size - is this the diameter or the circumference of the bead?
A: 12mm is the diameter of the bead, and we measure it from hole to hole.
Q: This might be a silly question but, why are they called miracle?! Thanks, Helen
A: They're referred to as miracle beads because of the kind of optical illusion that you get when looking at them. They are made up of several layers and finished with a clear outer coating, gives them a glowing effect and it looks as if there is a bead within the bead. Unfortunately they don't actually possess any magical powers and won't be transforming your water to wine any time soon!
