Q: I have difficulty finishing off all types of ribbon because it's so fine & slippy. If I don't want to tie it, how can I do this with metal ends?
A: You can use a ribbon crimp like: www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Ribbon-crimp/bo4054 to lock the end inside and provide a loop to which you can attach a clasp. Just fold your ribbon so that it fits inside the crimp, then squash one flap over with pliers and then the next flap over the first, you will then have a sort of ribbon envelope which is neat and hard-wearing.

Q: I want to make lanyards for mobile phones, would the organza ribbon be suitable or do you have another product which would be better?
A: I would have thought the organza ribbon would be a bit flimsy for hanging expensive phones from. I had a look online at mobile phone lanyards and they're mainly made from sturdier stuff.
