Frequently asked questions about the product: Pearl round 8mm

Q: Do these scratch easy when put with cut glass beads?
A: They shouldn't scratch, the pearl effect is a coating but I haven't known it to scratch easily. I guess it would depend how sharp your beads are, if they are regular faceted or bicone beads there shouldn't be a problem.

Q: How big is the hole on the 8mm? will the 0.8mm clear elastic go through the hole?
A: These beads have a 0.8mm size hole and the thick elasticity will go through but you may need to open up the holes slightly with a headpin as sometimes the holes can be covered by the pearlised coating.

Q: Why do there seem to be many shades of the same colour in the mixes, but only one shade of each colour in the 8mm, 10mm etc.? I would like to buy for example a mix of pink shades in 8mm.
A: Our glass pearl mixes are sent to us pre-packed as a random selection of colours and sizes. We have a range of 7 colours in all the sizes so you can match them together from 4mm right the way up to 16mm. If you like pink we have 2 available in the 8mm, a magenta and a pale pink.
