Q: Can this wire be sculpted into shapes? I need something that will retain its shape once sculpted. Thanks
A: No, this wouldn't work, it doesn't hold its shape, just pings straight out (it's designed to drape around necks). Try the silver plated wire www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Silver-plated-wire/bo4196 something like a 0.4mm or 0.6mm thickness.

Q: how do you fix the clasps on the ends.Thanks
A: You can fix clasps to the ends using crimp beads www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Crimp/bo4025 Thread these little beads onto the wire, thread on your clasp, then loop the wire back through the crimp bead and squash the crimp flat with pliers. You can also use crimping pliers www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Crimping-pliers/bo1031 to turn the crimps over on themselves creating a neater, more professional finish.

Q: I want to make some beaded stitch markers. Would this PCW be similar to the "soft loop" I see them made from in the USA? Do the crimp beads come in different diameters? Thank you
A: Yes this wire is similar, in the examples I've seen simple beading wire is used, so try the PCW as it's cheap and fun. We only have one diameter of crimp bead www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Crimp/bo4025 you can get 2 strands of the PCW through one crimp and then squash it flat to create your loop.

Q: im looking for plastic coated wire to suspend pleated blinds in a conservatory
A: Our questions are usually jewellery related so I'll confess to being a little stumped by this one, all I can suggest is trying one of our stronger beading wires such as the 19 strand Beadalon. This is going to be more pricey than the PCW but considerably tougher and more likely to withstand the opening and closing!

Q: Is this wire strong enough to make a necklace using glass pearls? Thanks
A: Yes the wire is really strong and it shouldn't be a problem to use with big glass pearls.
