Q: Are your multi mixes alphabets of different colours?
A: We currently just stock the black and white letter beads.

Q: do the black letters ever "rub off" over time?
A: We haven't had any feedback about the Black letter rubbing off but it really depends on how they are used and worn.

Q: Do the letter beads only come in black and white?
A: Yes, this is the only colour we have. You might be able to find a supplier via our links page at www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/home/links.php

Q: Do you do these in 10mm?
A: Not at the moment I'm afraid but we are considering expanding our range of letter beads, so watch this space!

Q: Do you have any matching number beads please? Thanks
A: I'm afraid we don't stock any number beads at all, you may be able to find a supplier on our links page at - www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/home/links.php

Q: Do you have beads for & and ! Symbols?
A: At the moment we just have the letters, no symbols or numbers. We are always getting new lines and expanding current ranges though so I will pass on the suggestion.

Q: Do you have square letter beads?
A: I'm sorry these round coin shaped plastic ones and the metal pendants are the only letter beads we have, I have seen little cube ones elsewhere.

Q: Do you have vertical beads in individual letters?
A: I'm sorry we only have letter beads that you can thread horizontally but there are a lot of different letter beads that you can find through our links page at: www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/home/links.php - you could even make some of your own from Fimo clay www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/fimo-modelling-clay/c472 if you have the patience!

Q: Do you sell any letter beads with a hole that goes top to bottom rather than left to right? As I want to make name keyrings which can be read from top to bottom.
A: All of our letter beads have the holes going across horizontally, we don't sell any that would be suitable for hanging down and spelling out words vertically.

Q: How big are the plastic letter beads in mm?
A: They are 6mm in diameter.

Q: how many of each letter are there in the 100 multi mix packet? you say its customized to give more vowels?
A: In the 100 multi mix there are:
5 A, E
2 Q, Z, X
and 4 each of all the other letters.

Q: I would like to thread these with leather , is this possible please?
A: The hole size of these beads is 1mm, our thin leather should fit though (LTN), as this is 1mm thick. With leather being a natural product it will vary slightly from batch to batch but I just tested a selection of our thin leathers and they all went through the hole so it should be fine.

Q: Is it just me being stupid or can you only by beads in 100s in the custom mix?
A: Our letter beads come already pre-packed in 100's so our custom mixes are sold in multiples of 100. If you would like to specifically choose the amounts of each letter you will need to buy them individually.

Q: Plastic letter beads - multi mix (PLBAMX) What size is the hole for thread?
A: It's just 1mm, our elastic fits perfectly.

Q: Please what is the breakdown of letters in the 1000 multi mix selection. Also is this a permanent product line? Thanks
A: Yes, this is definitely a permanent line, we'll be stocking these useful beads for many years to come! The breakdown of the letters in the 1000 multi mix is:
50 of A & E,
20 of Q, X & Z
and 40 each of all the others.
We've found that this covers most patterns of usage, people generally want to make their names out of these beads.

Q: We have purchased a set of letter beads and elastic from you and are now looking for plain beads to use with them to make bracelets (mainly for children). What do you suggest?
