Q: Does it have any stretch to it?

Q: does rat tail come in 0.5mm? i've been asked if I can find some, thanks
A: I'm sure you can get rat tail that's thinner, perhaps from a site that specialises in macrame threads, try googling satin cord as well, you might get results from that.

Q: I love this product, the only problem is there are so few beads that will thread over this 2mm thickness. I need a nudge in the right direction please. I love using the metal SP letters but find very little in the way of suitable spacer beads because of the thickness of the rat tails... can you recommend any? Actually it would be really good to add a link to all beads that would fit over this thread width somewhere if it is possible. it is such a wonderful material i love it!

Q: What thickness is your 'Rat tail' and what material is it made from?
A: It's about 2mm thick and made from polyester I think.

Q: what type of things can you do with rat tail?
A: The rat tail can be used in the same way as the leather and cotton cords to make necklaces and bracelets with beads and pendants etc. As it is quite thick you would have to choose beads with large holes to fit onto it. It is also suitable for making jewellery using knotwork techniques like macrame.
