Q: Are these beads a fair trade item, who makes them, what animal are they made from and where do they come from? Thanks very much Sam
A: All our bone and horn beads are Indian and absolutely nothing goes to waste there. Our buyers have visited a number of bone workshops where various domestic cattle and goat are used. Nothing endangered is required or allowed and nothing is reared with the sole intention of use as a bone product. They are hand carved and dyed.

Q: Does the multi mix contain equal numbers of the different bead colours? How large is the hole? Thanks
A: The holes in these beads are about 2mm wide. The multi mix should contain roughly equal numbers of the colours in the range but we mix these up in big batches and weigh them out so the mix will never be exactly equal.
