Q: How do you use silk thread? for example, can you use it like beading wire?
A: It's great, tough and colourful, you can use silk instead of beading wires by knotting where you might use a crimp bead. Each 2m pack comes with a built in needle on the end for easy threading.

Q: I need to make a long necklace with indian glass beads that needs to be versatile in ways of wearing. What would be the best stringing material?
A: If it's a long necklace then you won't need to bother with clasps as it can just be knotted, it depends how you want it to look as to what thread would be best. If you are planning on spacing the beads out and knotting between them then the thread will be visible and the silk thread would probably be your best bet, it comes in three thicknesses depending on the holes in your beads and lots of colours to match. If you are using lots of heavy beads you could try a double thickness of wildfire.

Q: What thickness would I need for 10mm glass beads?
A: It would really depend on the hole size of the bead. The silk come in 0.5mm, 0.7mm and 0.9mm and I would recommend using either the medium or thick if you're using several glass beads as they are going to be quite heavy.
