Q: What is the best way to colour or varnish these beads?
A: We've tried dyeing them with Dylon all purpose dyes and that works, some colours have a better result than others, the reds come out better than the greens for example. We got a bucket of dye and ducked the beads in it, leaving them floating and bobbing around for quite a while. It was an informal messing around test to see what would happen so if you're experimenting yourself let me know what happens.
