Q: Can I string the 8mm miracle or iridescent beads onto the 0.9 mm silk thread? I am making Muslim prayer beads and need a sturdy thread so I can roll the beads up and down the cord.
A: Yes, that shouldn't be a problem as the holes in the beads are about 1.2mm wide, so the cord should fit well.

Q: Do any of your beads have a hole size of 4.5mm or larger?
A: There are the cotton stipy beads CTBA that have 5.5mm wide holes www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/Cotton-stripy-round-20mm/bo5038 and then there are all of the pandora style glass beads which have 5mm wide holes www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/home/search.php?searchfor=pandora

Q: Do the coloured plastic beads like the iridescent, miracle and pearly have a hole 2.5mm or bigger?
A: I'm afraid none of those beads have holes that large. The 8mm miracle beads (PLBF) have holes that are about 1mm, as do the 8mm iridescent beads (PLBB). The 10mm pearly moon beads (66J) have a hole of almost 2mm.

Q: Hi I'm looking for novelty beads. Use to sell them a few years ago. I would be able to sell a few. I was wondering if you would be able to tell me where you can get them from as I'm looking for a good supplier of them.
A: I'm sorry we don't sell any novelty plastic shapes at the moment, we used to sell animal shapes but they declined in popularity and we discontinued them about 4 years ago. A: Most of the beads on this page will probably be suitable for making hair bobbles. It just depends whether you have a particular size of bead in mind, as some of the larger ones might make the bobbles too big. Apart from that I think any of the plastic beads would be ideal for hair bobbles! A: To be honest we probably won't as we used to have beads like this a few years ago. They weren't very popular so we discontinued them. Every now and then we take a chance on beads if we get a lot of enquiries, so at some point we may have a random mix but I know there are no immediate plans to source any plastic novelty shapes.
