Millefiori beads
Millefiori is the Italian for a thousand flowers. Millefori cane originates from the Venetian island of Murano and is produced by a very intricate process resulting in something like a very elaborate stick of rock. It is sliced into thin chips which are then pressed onto a background of molten glass. The results are these delightfully delicate pieces.

Frequently asked questions about the collection: millefiori beads
Q: Have you got any flower shapes?
A: Yes, we have glass, ceramic, plastic and metal flower shapes, just add 'flower' to the search box and you'll get a whole array of flowers: www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/home/search.php?searchfor=flower
Q: I recently purchased these 8mm multimix millefiori beads. I want to make a rosary which will end with a larger bead and then finished with a coloured tassle of sorts. What thread would you recommend. I see the holes are tiny .......would the 0.3mm nylon be recommended or something different. Do you have suitable threads on your site for the the tassles also. Anything you suggest would be very appreciated.
Thank you
A: How about the silk thread www.beadsunlimited.co.uk/home/search.php?searchfor=silk It's all thin enough to thread through these beads, it's strong, makes attractive knots and it comes in lovely colours. You could also use it for tassels.
