Dagger Necklace

Glass daggers are used to create a fan shape that is repeated to make this striking necklace.

Materials
- 26 x 5x16mm pressed glass daggers clear (GLRB05)
- 10 x 5x16mm pressed glass daggers aqua (GLRB25)
- 15 x 5x16mm pressed glass daggers turquoise (GLRB18)
- 1 x pack of 12 eyepins gold plated (EPGP)
- 1 x metre heavy chain gold plated (CHHGP)
- 2 x packs of 10 8mm jump ring gold plated (JR8GP)
- 1 x trigger clasp gold plated (TRGGP)
- You will also need a pair of multi pliers (CRMT)
- 1 x project sheet (BB1112P)
Stage 1
Thread three clear daggers onto an eyepin, trim eyepin 1cm above the last bead. Bend into a loop and close (make sure the loop is in the same direction as the eye on the eyepin).Stage 2
Bend the eyepin into a slight curve to create the fan shape.Stage 3
Repeat to make a fan using five turquoise daggers. Another with five clear daggers. One with five aqua daggers and another with three clear daggers.Stage 4
Join the fans in the order above using an 8mm jump ring. Add a jump ring to each end and attach 15cm of chain to each side.Stage 5
Create the second row in the same way using: five turquoise, five clear, five aqua, five clear, five turquoise and finally five clear daggers. Attach a 16cm length of chain to each side.Stage 6
Join the end of one 15cm and one 16cm length of chain with a jump ring, repeat on the other side and add a trigger clasp. This is what your necklace should look like.
