Materials

  • 1 x 0.6mm coloured wire aqua (CLW0625)
  • 5 x 16mm glass pearls turquoise (GLHP16-18)
  • 5 x 15mm matt wood sky blue (WDB29)
  • 2 x metres light chain silver plated (CHLSP)
  • 2 x 35mm chunky round aluminium shape (ALJD5)
  • 4 x 40mm aluminium square donut (ALJE1)
  • 1 x packet of 25 5mm jump rings silver plated (JR5SP)
  • 2 x packet of 12 eyepins silver plated (EPSP)
  • 1 x packet of 6 long ballwires silver plated (LBWSP)
  • 1 x 15mm trigger clasp silver plated (TRG15SP)
  • You will also need a pair of craft multi pliers (CRMT)
  • 1 x project sheet (MJ1007PC)

Stage 1

Thread a bead onto an eyepin, trim 1cm above the bead, bend into a loop and close. Repeat for all of your beads.
Cut two 18cm lengths of chain. Attach a wooden beaded eyepin to one end of an 18cm length. Add a jump ring
to the bottom of the eyepin, thread an eyepin through the loop of the aluminium square donut bend it in half and attach to the jump ring. Attach a beaded pearl eyepin to the other 18cm length. Add the donut in the same way.

Stage 2

Cut a 20cm length of coloured wire, halfway along the wire, bend the wire into a figure of eight repeat until the
bent part of the wire covers the bottom half of the donut. Thread the straight part through the middle of the donut bend and twist the wire tightly together underneath the shape. Make a loop at the end of the wire. Repeat on the second aluminium square donut.

Stage 3

Attach a wooden bead underneath one donut and a glass pearl under the second. Attach a 7cm length of chain to each, followed by a wooden bead on one side and a pearl on the other. Cut 10cm of chain and join the two
sections together. Put this aside.

Stage 4

Cut two 12cm lengths of chain. Attach a wooden beaded eyepin to one end of a 12cm length and a pearl to the
second length. Attach a 7cm length of chain to each followed by a wooden bead on one and a pearl on the other. Attach a chunky round donut to each in the same way as the square donut and add the bent wire decoration. Join these sections with a 16cm length of wire.

Stage 5

one end of each section with a jump ring in the last link of chain. Add a trigger clasp to one side. Make the
matching earrings as shown in step 2. Use a jump ring to attach a long ballwire to each.

Stage 6
