Materials

• 2 x metres 12mm organza ribbon black (RNOG1201)
• 2 x metres 12mm organza ribbon white (RNOG1202)
• 11 x 18mm acrylic animal print zebra (PLAA3)
• 1 x metres 19 strand beadalon black (BDW1901)
• 2 x 6mm pressed round glass black (GLPC0601)
• 1 x pack of 12 crimps black antique (CRBA)
• 1 x project sheet (MJ1112PA)
• You will also need a pair of multi pliers (CRMT)

Stage 1

Cut your two colours of ribbon in half. Layer them in alternating colours.

Stage 2

Thread on a crimp and one of the black beads onto the wire. Pass the end of the wire back through the crimp and squeeze flat trim the excess wire.

Stage 3

Measure 30cm from the end of the ribbon layers and poke the wire through the ribbon, pull through so that the black bead touches the ribbon. Add a zebra bead, wrap the ribbon loosely around the zebra bead and poke the wire through the ribbon. Continue in this way to add all of your beads.
If you find this tricky poke a hole in the ribbon with a thick needle.

Stage 4

Thread a black bead and a crimp onto the wire. Move the bead tightly next to the ribbon, pass the wire back through the black bead, pull tight and squeeze the crimp flat. Trim the excess wire.

Stage 5

Trim the ribbon to the same length as the other side. Trim the ends at angle for a neat finish.

Stage 6

This is what your finished necklace should look like.
