Materials
- 1 x 100g glass pearl mix silver tones (GLXHP31)
- 9 x pressed glass drops ruby (GLPB11)
- 10 x 6mm faceted glass ruby (GLPA0611)
- 1 x metre light chain silver plated (CHLSP)
- 1 x 12 crimps silver plated (CRSP)
- 1x 8 crimp covers silver plated (CRC3SP)
- 1 x 10 8mm jump ring silver plated (JR8SP)
- 1 x trigger clasp silver plated (TRGSP)
- 1x 12 eyepins silver plated (EPSP)
- 1 x 100 headpins silver plated (HPSP)
- 1 x 25 5mm jump rings silver plated (JR5SP)
- 1 x 6 long ballwires silver plated (LBWSP)
- 1 x metre 7 strand Tiger Tail (TT7)
- 1 x project sheet (BM1112P)
- You will also need a pair of multipliers (CRMT)
Stage 1
Choose a large bead from your mix. Thread it onto a headpin, trim 1cm above the bead. Bend into a loop and close.Stage 2
Choose a range of beads starting with the largest first. Follow step one. And thread them onto 30cm of your Tiger Tail. Continue to add the beads adding all of the red faceted beads until you have a chunky centre and tapered edges.Stage 3
Thread a bead directly onto each end of the wire. Thread a crimp onto one end of the wire pass the end back through the crimp and squeeze flat. Trim the excess wire and add a crimp cover.Stage 4
Move all of the beads along so they sit snugly next to the crimp cover. Attach a chain of three 8mm jump rings to the wire, in the centre of the beads. Add a crimp and crimp cover to the other end in the same way.Stage 5
Add an 8mm jump ring to each loop and a 14cm length of chain. Add an 8mm jump ring to the end of the chain and a jump ring with a trigger to the other.Stage 6
Thread six drop beads onto an eyepin. Bend the eyepin so that the top of the drops sit very snugly together creating a flower shape. Trim the eyepin 1cm from the last bead, thread through the loop of the eyepin bend into a loop and close.Stage 7
Add an 8mm jump ring to the centre of the beaded flower. Add a bead on a headpin to the centre of the beaded flower next to the jump ring. Add another 8mm jump ring to the flower opposite the first.Stage 8
Thread a medium sized bead from your mix onto an eyepin, trim 1cm above the bead. Bend into a loop and attach to the bottom jump ring in the middle of your beaded section and the other end to one of the 8mm jump rings on the beaded flower.Stage 9
Add a 5mm jump ring to a drop bead, and attach a chain made of eyepins of two small beads from the mix to the 8mm jump ring at the bottom of the beaded flower.Stage 10
