Stage 1
Cut a 40cm length of plastic coated wire. Thread on a 12mm pearl and five 4mm xilion to the left of the pearl. Move to the centre of the wire and pass the left hand side around the pearl and back through the pearl. Pull tight.Stage 2
Thread on five 4mm xilion to the right hand side, pass around the pearl and through pull the wires tight so that the xilion sit snugly against the pearl.Stage 3
Thread on a 6mm xilion to one side followed by a crimp, pass the wire back through the crimp and 6mm xilion, and pull through until you have a small loop of wire. You use these to assemble your necklace. Use the crimping pliers to squeeze the crimp closed using the hole closest to the handle. This will give your crimp a fold in the middle.Stage 4
Flatten the crimp with the hole closest to the tip of the pliers for a neat finish and give an extra squeeze with the flat part at the end of the pliers to make completely secure. Trim the excess wire. Make four more. Repeat to make the smaller beaded section. Use an 8mm pearl and three 4mm xilion on each side of the pearl to make six small sections.Stage 5
Thread a 6mm xilion onto an eyepin, trim 1cm above the bead, bend into a loop and add another eyepin. Close the loop. Repeat to make two chains of 4 beads.Stage 6
Join the beaded sections together with 5mm jump rings starting with a small and alternating the sizes. Add a beaded chain to each side by opening one end of the eyepin. To finish, add a jump ring with a trigger clasp to one end and a jump ring to the other.Stage 7
To make the earringsMake a small beaded section. Thread a 4mm pearl onto a headpin, trim 1cm above the bead, bend into a loop and add to one end of the beaded section. Add a long ballwire to the other side. Repeat to make a pair.
This is what your finished set should look like.
