Q: I keep meaning to ask - what is the metal used in these pendants?
A: I'm not exactly sure of the metal make-up of these pendants, I could enquire with the factory that produces them if you like. I do know that the metal casing of these pendants conforms to the EU nickel directives definition of low nickel. To be described as low nickel, products intended to come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin must release nickel at a rate of less than 0.2 µg/cm2/week. Low nickel jewellery won't irritate most people's skin, but people with a nickel allergy or a high sensitivity should stick to more expensive metals like gold, platinum and titanium. Q: Is there any chance that you may be able to add other shapes, such as flowers and round discs in various colours and sizes, to your collection of coloured pearl shell? I particularly like these as I find them useful for drop earrings and bag dangles, but am having difficulty in obtaining them.
