A Pair of Chain Nosed Pliers

A Beading Mat ( BMT2 )

Instructions

How to tie a surgeon knot (you may wish to practise on a spare length of thread).

1. Pass thread A over and across B to create your circle bracelet shape. (Photo 1)

2. Wrap your A over and under your B twice to create half your knot. (Photo 2)

3. Pass B over and under A to create the second part of your knot. (Photo 3)

4. Pull your knot tight and trim your ends. (Photo 4)

We threaded our beads on to thick elasticity

Valentine's Bracelet One

We used:

3mm Silver Plated Beads ( MTEA3031 )

1 x 5mm Silver Plated Jump Ring ( JR5SP )

1 x Heart Charm ( MT1ATSP )

Using chain nosed pliers, open up one jump ring, loop it onto the middle point of your bracelet, add the heart charm, and close the jump ring.

Valentine's Bracelet Two

We used:

White and Red Heart beads ( PLBPHE02 )

Cut a length of elasticity, thread your heart beads until the bracelet is the correct length. Tie a surgeon's knot and trim the elasticity.

Valentine's Bracelet Three

We used:

5mm Preciosa Siam Crystal Bicones ( CPB590090-24 )

5mm Preciosa Rose Crystal Bicones ( CPB570010-24 )

3mm Silver Plated Beads ( MTEA3031 )

Cut a length of elasticity, thread 3 siam crystal beads, 1 metal bead, 3 rose crystal beads, repeat this sequence until the bracelet is the correct length. Tie a surgeon's knot and trim the elasticity.

Valentine's Bracelet Four

We used:

Size 8/0 Metallic Pink Seed Beads ( M812 )

One letter bead ( PLBAMX )

Cut a length of elasticity, thread your seed beads until you reach the middle of the bracelet, thread on your letter bead, thread your seed beads until your bracelet is the correct length. Tie a surgeon's knot and trim the elasticity.
