Free Instructions Flamingo Necklace

A sweet necklace for a Flamingo lover (who doesn't love Flamingos?!). A proud little Flamingo, standing on one leg, with pretty little pink crystals adorning the chain she swings from. This necklace has lovely movement!

Materials needed:

1 x Flamingo Charm ( MT1BM )

6 x 4mm Preciosa Rose Bicone Crystal Beads ( CPB470010-20 )

4 x 5mm Preciosa Light Rose Bicone Crystal Beads ( CPB570020-24 )

10 x Headpins ( HPSP )

1 x 18" Belcher Chain ( CHF18SP-1 )

1 x 5mm jump ring ( JR5SP )

Side Cutters ( BEESC )

Round Nosed Pliers

Instructions:

1. Thread one 4mm rose crystal bead onto a head pin, and trim 8mm above the bead (photo 1)

TIP: Keep your head pin off cuts, you will need one to make a jump ring for your necklace. They are handy to keep for future projects to make into more jump rings, or eye pins!

2. Using chain nosed pliers fold over the top section of the head pin (photo 2)

3. Use round nosed pliers to turn a neat loop to finish one crystal charm ( photo 3 ). Put to one side

4. Using chain nosed pliers to open your jump ring, loop it onto middle link of your chain, and onto the loop of the flamingo, close the jump ring ( photo 4 )

5. Using chain nosed pliers, open the loop on your crystal charm you made in the beginning 3 steps, link it onto the fourth link along from your jump ring, close the loop (photo 5)
