Size 11/0 Seed Beads of your chosen main colour (We used O1101C)

Size 11/0 Seed Beads of your chosen eye colour (We used S1128C)

Size 11/0 Seed Beads in Opaque Pink (O1112C)

Beading thread (any of our beading thread will be suitable)

A size 13 beading needle (ND13)

A sharp pair of scissors (SCIMX)

Legend - A = main colour (black), B = ear and nose colour (pink), C = eye colour (green)

Thread your needle with 1m of stretched beading thread, leaving a 15cm tail pick up 3A. Turn and pass back through the 1st A picked up.
Pick up 1B and pass down through the 2nd A added in the previous step.
Pick up 1A and pass through the last bead added. Pick up 1B and pass through the last bead added. Pick up 1A and pass through the last bead added. Repeat adding A until you have 2 rows of 7 beads.
Pass up through the bead to the left and up through the last added.
Pick up 2A, pass under the bridging thread, settle the beads next to each other and up through the 2nd bead added.
Pick up 1C, pass under the bridging thread, settle the bead and pass up through this bead. Repeat to add 1C. Continue along this row to add 1A, 1B and 1A.
Pick up 2A, pass under the 2nd bridging thread, up the 1st bead added, down the 2nd bead, under the bridging thread and back up through the 2nd bead.
Continue along the row to add 1C, 1A, 1C, 1A and 1A. Add 1 more A by passing under the last bridging thread again and back up through this last bead added.
Use the previous techniques shown and the chart below to complete the face.
Weave through to exit the 5th bead in this row. Pick up 2A, pass under the 2nd bridging thread and back up through the 2nd bead added. Weave in and secure your thread.
Thread onto the tail thread, weave through and repeat step 10 to add the 2 beads on the other side. Weave in and secure your thread.
