Rainbow Seed Bead Bracelet

A wearable rainbow! Show off all the gorgeous silver lined seed beads in our easy to make, easy to wear bracelet.


Materials Needed:

5g size 11/0 Preciosa Silver lined silver ( S1131) ,
Preciosa Silver Lined Size 8/0 Mix 100g ( S8MX),
OR 5g each of the following Preciosa Silver Lined Seed Beads ; red ( S811), orange (S821), yellow (S815), lime green (S816), turquoise (S818), royal blue (S817), amethyst (S841), lavender (S824). White Nymo (NMD02), small bolt ring (BRSSP-4)

Tools Needed:

Size 15 Beading needle (ND15), sharp pair of scissors (SCIMX), beading mat (BMT2)

Legend: A- size 8/0 seed beads. B- size 11/0

Instructions

  1. Take a comfortable length of stretched nymo. Thread three red As, 1B, three orange As, 1B (photo 1)

  2. Circle your needle around, and pass back through the three red As to create a circle (photo 2)

  3. Miss out the next B, then pass back down through the three orange As (photo 3)

  4. Miss the next B, then pass back around the same thread path as the previous step (missing the Bs) (photo 4)

  5. Pick up 1B, three yellow As, 1 B. Circle around and pass back down through the three orange As (photo 5)

  6. Miss the next B, and pass back up through the three yellow As. (photo 6)

  7. Miss out the B, and pass down through the three orange As (photo 7)

  8. Miss out the next B, and pass back up through the three yellow As (photo 8)

  9. Pick up 1B, three green As, 1 B. Circle around and pass up through the three yellow As (photo 9)

  10. Miss the next B, and pass back down the three green As (photo 10)

  11. Miss the next B, and pass up through the three yellow As (photo 11)

  12. Miss the next B, and pass down through the three green As (photo12)

  13. Repeat steps 5 - 12 with the remaining colours of the rainbow (photo 13) and continue until your bracelet is your desired length. Bearing in mind, the beading and bolt ring will add (20mm)

  14. Pick up 5Bs, half of the bolt ring clasp, 5Bs, and pass through the row of end three As in the bracelet (photo 14). Pass back around the thread path to strengthen

  15. Pick up 1B, and pass through the next B (photo 15) pick up 1 B, and pass through the next B. Continue doing this along the length of the bracelet

  16. Pick up 6B, the other half of the bolt ring clasp, pick up 6Bs, and pass back through the last row of three As (photo 16). Pass back around the same thread path to strengthen.

  17. Pass through the next B, pick up 1 B. continue doing this for the length of the bracelet (photo 17). Once you’ve reached the other end, sew in and secure your threads
