Free Instructions Tropical Charm Bracelet

Make your own crystal charms and adorn our ready to wear charm bracelet with lovely leaf charms.

This bracelet is deliciously tactile and a joy to wear. Catch the movement of the dancing leaves amongst your sparkling crystal bead charms. We a chose a tropical summer colour theme, but we have many other crystal beads to browse if you fancy choosing your own crystal colour way (50 to be exact!)

Materials Needed:

1 x charm bracelet ( BRCSP )

24 x head pins ( HPSP )

9 x 5mm jump rings ( JR5SP )

9 x Leaf Charm ( MT1FF )

12 x 6mm Emerald Preciosa Crystal Bicones ( CPB650730-12 )

12 x 6mm Limecicle Preciosa Crystal Bicones ( CPB650540-12 )

5g Size 8/0 Transparent Hot Pink Seed Beads ( T822 )

5g size 8/0 Tangerine Silver Lined Seed Beads ( S821 )

Tool Required

1 Pair of side cutters ( BEESC )

1 Pair of chain nosed pliers

1 pair of round nosed pliers

Instructions

1. Thread one seed bead, one crystal bead, one seed bead into a head pin, and trim 8mm above the bead (photo 1)

TIP: Keep your head pin off cuts, you will need one to make a jump ring for your necklace. They are handy to keep for future projects to make into more jump rings, or eye pins!

2. Using chain nosed pliers fold over the top section of the head pin (photo 2)

3. Use round nosed pliers to turn a neat loop to finish one crystal charm (photo 3)

4. Repeat these steps until you have 24 crystal bead charms (or however many you would like) (photo 5) We made 12 crystal charms with hot pink seed beads and emerald crystal, and 12 with tangerine seed beads and limecicle crystals. ( photo 4 )

5. Lay out your charm bracelet, using chain nosed pliers, open up 1 jump ring, use this to attach a leaf charm into a link of your charm bracelet, close the jump ring. We attached it the larger of the two sizes of link on the bracelet. Using chain nosed pliers open the loops of 2 x hot pink/emerald crystal charms and 1 x tangerine / limecicle crystal charms, loop them onto the next large link on your charm bracelet charms, close the loops. 6. Continue adding a leaf charm to alternate large links on your charm bracelet, and three crystal charms to the other large links Alternate the crystal colours so the colours are distributed evenly( photo 6 )
