Free Instructions: Curls and Cubes Earrings
So many beautiful metallic cube beads to choose from in our mix box, what sequences will you make? Or swap out the cubes for a different type of bead altogether
Materials Needed: 2 ear wires ( LBWSP), , 1m trace chain ( CHTRSP), 2 x 5mm jump rings (JR5SPSP), 12 x head pins (HPSP), 2 x coiled links(MT1DE), Metallic square beads from seed bead box (BXSQUMX) and 12 x 3mm silver plated beads (MTEA3031).
Tools Needed: side cutters (BEESC), two pairs of chain nose pliers (BEECN), round nosed pliers (BEERN).
Instructions
- Take three head pins, thread 1 square bead, 1 3mm bead, 1 square bead, 1 3mm bead, 1 square bead onto each head pin (photo 1)
- Using side cutter, trim the head pins 1cm above the last bead, repeat for the other head pins (photo 2)
- Using chain nosed pliers, fold the top of the head pin over, as close to the ebad as you can, then using round nosed pliers, turn a neat loop. Repeat for the other two head pins (photo 3)
- Using side cutters, cut three lengths of chain, two lengths that are 5 links long, and one length that is 7 links long (photo4)
- Take a beady head pin, using chain nosed pliers, open up the end loop and attach one of the lengths of the chain. Repeat for the other two beady head pins, and chains (photo 5).
- Using chain nosed pliers, open up 1 jump ring, use this to attach the middle bottom loop of the coil link to one of your longest lengths of chain (the opposite end the the beads) (photo 6)
- Repeat for the other two beady head pin chain, and the other two loops (photo 7)
- Open a jump ring, and use this to attach the top loop of the coiled link to an earwire (photo 8)
- Repeat all the steps again to make your second pair of earrings!
