Free Instructions: Purple Pop Necklace

A colour pop and a fabulous sparkle! A great project for little beaders, it may require a little teamwork with an adult.

Materials Needed: 1m cotton covered elastic ( EL13), 109 pony beads - to make an approx 20” necklace ( PLCN13), 5 resin shamballa beads (RESC13).

Legend:A= Pony Beads, B= Resin Shamballa beads

Tools Needed: a sharp pair of scissors (SCIMX).

Instructions

1. Thread 27A onto your elastic, leaving a 10cm tail (photo 1)
   
   
2. Thread 1B, 5A, 1B, 5A, 1B, 5A, 1B, 5A, 1B. Then 27A (photo 2)
   
   
3. Circle back around to the beginning of the beads from step 1, and thread through the 26As
   
   
4. Pick up 7A, miss the next 1A, 1B, 1A, pass through the next A (photo 4)
   
   
5. Pass through the next 3As (photo 5)
   
   
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 four more times
   
   
7. Pass through the remaining As, and exit when you reach the other tail (Image 6)
   
   
8. Pull your elastic so there enough tension for the beads to sit correctly (Image 7)
   
   
9. Tie two overhand knots, keeping the tension, and trim your elastic (Image 8)
